About Brian
Brian Baker, a proud Tennessee native, has been married to his wife, Bonnie, for 28 wonderful years. Together, they are the parents of nine children whose ages range from 8 to 27, making family life full of energy, laughter, and adventure.
Brian attended Lipscomb University before beginning a career in information technology, where he has worked for over 30 years. Alongside his professional life, Brian’s greatest joy is found in time spent with his family. The Bakers love camping, hiking, and soaking in the beauty of God’s creation. Whether it’s pitching a tent, sitting around a campfire, or exploring new trails, Brian treasures the opportunity to experience life’s adventures surrounded by his family. His family also has a deep love for church camp, where lasting friendships are made and faith is strengthened in the beauty of God’s creation.
One of the Bakers’ favorite verses is Psalm 19:1: “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” It’s a verse that reflects their love for seeing God’s handiwork on display in the wilderness.
Brian’s passion for faith, family, the outdoors, and church camp aligns perfectly with the mission of Wilderness Trek, where he is excited to continue building meaningful relationships and creating lasting memories in God’s creation.
