About Anicka

Anicka Olsen grew up in the mountains of Colorado at the base of the Collegiate Peaks.  Raised in a family-run, multi-day rafting company she began her outdoor heritage at a young age.  As a guide, manager, and participant on a wide variety of wilderness adventures she has regularly seen first-hand the impact that the combination of community, wilderness, and spiritual connection has on people’s lives.  Her involvement with Wilderness Trek has been a continuation of that passion and mission.

A University of Colorado graduate in Environmental Studies and avid international traveler, she currently home bases in Texas with her husband, Ben – a former WT guide, and two daughters.  She is actively involved in her local church community and spends many hours knitting for friends and loved ones.
