Work at Trek Since Wilderness Trek is a ministry, we need you as a missionary.

IMG_6812Dear Wilderness Trek applicant,

First – Thanks! Thanks for your love of Christ, your love of kids and your love of the amazing outdoors. Those are our priorities at Wilderness Trek and we pray they can be yours.

Each summer Wilderness Trek leads teenagers and adults on an adventure! We go into the wilderness to experience God like many have never done. The Forest Service says only about 1% of people will ever go into the areas we go into. Wow, 1%!

This is truly a ministry that happens “in” the creation of God. We believe you can see and hear God anywhere. But, for many of us, His voice is the clearest in His creation in the woods, wilderness and summits of the mountains. We can only do this with someone who is dedicated, like you.

Would you be good at showing the wilderness to kids? We hope so. IMG_6818

Since Wilderness Trek is a ministry, we need you as a missionary. A missionary who shows kids God’s creation up close. Here are a few comments from kids and adults who went on a trek with us last summer.

“It was an awesome experience and I learned a lot about God.”

“I learned to pray on the mountain.”

“It truly is a work that God is working through.”

“I’m coming back.” IMG_6520

“I was pushed to my limits physically and emotionally and left the mountain a better person and, more importantly, a more humbled, focused Christian.”

“The beauty of God’s creation coupled with the inner challenge and teamwork led to an amazing rejuvenation of my soul.”

“Adults need to be prepared for a physically demanding week. This is not a trail hike.”

“Must be in shape – not for weak. Be prepared to be pushed.” IMG_6809

“One of the best experiences I have ever had.”

“Very physically demanding, but worth it in the end!
